Author copies of my new book, with a 'real' publisher, just arrived through the post - rather unexpected as they are advertising May 1st as the publication date. It's been rather an eye-opener working with a publishing firm - some parts excellent, really impressive and quick, other parts frustrating and not enough information given. A very different experience from the complete control you have when you self-publish. Now let's hope someone buys it ...
