You girls stay here?

This is the working title of my current project, and funnily enough, what I'm finding is that most of my (1930s and '40s) authors really don't have the boys going off to do the exciting stuff leaving the girls behind. In fact, they quite often have the boys getting into trouble and having to be rescued by the girls (yeah!). I've now finished all the primary research, and although of course I won't have finished the book by the time my 'sabbatical' comes to an end, I've already chalked up 25,000 words, which is better than I'd hoped, and I'm finding all sorts of interesting things, which is great.
