It's several weeks now since I signed a contract with Stagescripts Ltd for my play, Rough Justice. It was really exciting to be faced with an actual contract, but they did warn me they had taken on quite a lot of new work and it would be a while before they got around to publishing mine. It would be a fantastic Christmas present if it happened before that date, but I suspect it won't.
Meanwhile I've sent copies of my second full-length play, A Matter of Perspective, to both Bingley Little Theatre and Keighley Playhouse, my most local theatre companies, in the hope that one of them will be interested in putting it on in their 2017-18 season - I'd so much like to see something of mine performed. So far, the only one that has been was Dream Holiday and as I was in that I didn't actually get to see it! Fingers crossed for the future!
