Loo news from China!

Visiting China for the first time in 29 years, I find my Chinese anecdotes in 'Bedbugs and Chamberpots' are indeed, as predicted, a little out of date! From rare, smelly holes in the ground or rows of public toilets with no doors, we have progressed to frequent, clean and even rather artistic public conveniences, in the cities at least, (still squat-style but with a flush) with sit-down facilities for the disabled. I wish British loos had improved as much in the same time frame.
